The GoNano consortium held their second face-to-face meeting in Dublin, Ireland on 8-9 May 2018, hosted by Irish partner the European Institute of Women’s Health.
The two-day meeting focused on what has been achieved at this point, and the next steps to move the project forward. Day One began with presentations on ‘turning lessons into actions’, the results of the work done so far: in-depth interviews with stakeholders, comprehensive consultations of former projects and their achievements, and analysis of gender, culture and online dialogue.
The rest of the meeting was spent in interactive workshops where consortium members discussed visions of nanotechnology to be brought to the citizen consultations and co-creation, which are the next steps of the project. Additional workshops were held on the methodology development of these consultations, in order to have a firm structure on both the consultations and the co-creation activities.
The GoNano consortium were also lucky to throughout the meeting benefit from the presence of a member of the GoNano Advisory Panel, as well as our External Evaluator, who both greatly enhanced the exploratory work and the discussion of concrete issues raised.
