Nanotechnologies is a rapid expanding field of research and businesses. This gives a lot of new opportunities for a more sustainable world. But how do policy agendas keep pace with these new developments? How do citizens balance benefit and risk? And how can policy makers play a role in this wide range of societal needs and desires? Together with GoNano you will work in a more resilient and robust way to incorporate different viewpoints from all stakeholders (citizens, industry, researchers, civil society organisations) involved. We will co-create concrete product suggestions within the areas of food, health and energy, illustrate new opportunities for innovation and develop policy recommendations.
What GoNano will bring you
- feel closer to the civil society to understand their needs and expectation
- understand the perceptions and concerns of all stakeholders involved about the use of nanotechnologies
- provide policy recommendations on how to develop your strategy considering the state of the art and the future impacts on nanotechnologies
- provide policy recommendations on how to use co-creation to make policy decisions more inclusive and responsive to societal needs and values
- expand your network
What GoNano expects from you
- open mind, willingness to share
- proactive, like to collaboration with other stakeholders
- work together in trust and openness
