On November 7th, a second stakeholder workshop will be organized where representatives from research institutes, industry and start-ups, policymaking, CSOs, and citizens are invited to discuss future applications of nanotechnology in health. The workshop is part of the co-creation process of GoNano, and a follow-up of the citizen consultation, first stakeholder meetings, and a largescale online citizen consultation.
During the second workshop we will share the results of the online consultation, based on input from more than 500 citizen across Europe on potential applications of nanotechnology in food, energy and health. Furthermore we will discuss how to protect personal health data that will be collected with new monitoring and diagnostic devices. Additionally, we focus on connections between research, industry and society, and we aim for building a community of practice.
The workshop takes place in the Designlab of the University of Twente (Enschede) on 7 November, from 11.00 – 15.15h. If you’re interested in attending the meeting, please send an e-mail to: gonano@utwente.nl
