Consortium meeting Prague – Getting ready for co-creation

Lenka Hebakova, Strategic Studies Department, Technology Centre CAS, Czech Republic

The members of GoNano consortium gathered in Prague, Czech Republic on 17-18 September 2018 for their third face-to-face meeting. This time, it was hosted by the Czech partner, Technology Centre CAS.

The main aim of the meeting was to prepare the project for the co-creation process; its implementation, consisting of four main phases, takes off in October 2018 and will supposedly end by October 2019.

Day one was dedicated to introduction of the GoNano co-creation methodology, followed by more specific interactive sessions on envisioning and deliberating with citizens as well as co-creation with professional stakeholders. The consortium meeting also welcomed Alessandra Zamagni of Ecoinnovazione, Italy, who was appointed an external evaluator of the GoNano project.

Day two focused on what has been achieved at this point in communication and dissemination activities as well as project management. At the end, the upcoming steps to move the co-creation process forward were agreed upon.

For those interested, the two-say meeting was followed by a Training workshop for GoNano citizens meetings. Specific methodological issues were discussed and simulated in order for pilot partners to fully grasp the approach and run their workshops successfully.
