GoNano and Harvestore are teaming up to organise a half-day workshop: co-create autonomous wireless sensor nodes for the future Internet of Things. The workshop is at IREC Barcelona on Oct 30th,with the aim to co-create autonomous wireless sensor nodes for the future Internet of Things.
The Harvestore project brings together key actors in science and technology from across Europe with the goal of opening-up a new technology paradigm in the world of IoT. The “μ-harvestorers” under development will be able to collect and store energy from heat and light at the same time, in order to serve a whole family of new-generation portable devices.
From an early stage in the development, Harvestore is inviting professional and societal stakeholders (researchers, designers, architects, civil engineers, citizens, CSOs, etc.) to share their views, concerns and expertise, during a co-creation workshop. The aim is to hopefully capture innovative product ideas in the area of IoT that will be of greater benefit to society. In this process, GoNano will mainly support and enable co-creation between the different stakeholders to align future nanotechnologies with societal needs and values.
The workshop takes place at The Catalonia Institute for Energy Research in Barcelona on October 30th. If you would like to contribute your expertise to these discussions, or are simply interested in learning more about these exciting research initiatives, please contact us at info@gonano-project.eu
